Celebrate Sauvignon Blanc

Let’s face it who doesn’t love Sauvignon Blanc?

For more than 30 years Giesen Sauvignon Blanc has been giving us an opportunity to bring together great people for great times – so its appropriate we toast it.

Thank goodness someone has created an occasion for just that! Friday 6 May 2016 is International Sauvignon Blanc Day – a chance to get together with friends and celebrate this amazing grape.

As well as celebrating the fun and the memories it has created the day is an opportunity to explore all that Sauvignon Blanc has to offer. Think you know Sauv Blanc? Think again!

Between our ranges, Giesen has seven Sauvignon Blancs that means something for all tastes.  The Estate, The Organic, The Brothers, two single vineyard Fuder Sauvignon Blancs, The August 1888 and, to finish off, a Late Harvest. Each is a unique take on Sauvignon Blanc, offering a different flavour profile and style.

Do you prefer more oak in your white? Head for The August 1888, which is barrel fermented. Ever been curious about organic wine? Giesen has a great option for you, too, which tastes quite different from our other offerings.

So if you think you’ve tasted everything Sauvignon Blanc has to offer, it’s time to think again! Organise a group of friends and crack a bottle or two this Friday 6 May 2016 on International Sauvignon Blanc Day. Be part of the global conversation via Facebook and Twitter using #SauvBlanc and enjoy!
