Giesen is thrilled to join the crew for this summer’s Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinema throughout Australia, featuring music by day and movies by night!
Kicking off now in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the festival is set to hit Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth before the end of April.
We reckon being a part of such an iconic Aussie pastime as Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinema is just perfect for Giesen – a wine company founded by three brothers whose life story is like the perfect road trip movie.
Our story begins with a montage featuring three sons of a stonemason—Alex, Theo, and Marcel—cultivating a hobby vineyard in their native Germany. Several years later, the brothers embark on an epic adventure to travel the world, ultimately falling in love with New Zealand. In Marlborough, they discover the perfect region to grow a selection of their favourite wines such as Riesling, a popular German variety.
Fast-forward thirty years and their Giesen Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has become a blockbuster, finding friends wherever it goes. Today the Giesen portfolio is full of A-list stars including The Brothers, The Fuders, organic, and single vineyard wines.
The best part is, you can enjoy Giesen wines at the Openair Cinema ‒ so grab some friends and check out a great movie under the stars with some great wine.
To top it off, every Sunday screening is a ‘Sundae Session’, a dedicated live music event with FREE Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for all!
