Biogro NZ Certification

BioGro is New Zealand’s leading organic certifier.

As is the New Zealand standard, Giesen is accredited with Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ) and BioGro New Zealand. It is not simply its aim to meet these standards, but to exceed them.

BioGro is renowned in export markers including Asia, Europe, Australia and the US, and has become synonymous with certified organics. Using the BioGro logo on its wines gives customers the assurance that its organic wines are authentic, free from Genetic Modification, animal cruelty or the routine use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides.

Our Ridge Block and Clayvin Vineyards are certified organic by BioGro New Zealand.
