BBQ Ribeye beef and salad
Featuring delicious sweet red berry notes, this classic Australian Shiraz is ripe and generous.
Where I’m From
Murray Darling and Swan Hill, Victoria, Australia. These two hot, dry winegrowing regions are famed for producing a classic style of Australian Shiraz.
How I’m Grown
The 2021 growing season was cool by Australian standards, with excellent fruit set. This led to healthy yields and clean fruit with great purity of flavour.
Great wines are the ones we remember sharing with family and friends - that’s why we created Giesen Estate. Our Estate wines showcase distinctive regional varieties which are generous, smooth, relaxing and most of all, taste great!
Victoria, Australia
Fruit was harvested when it reached perfect ripeness, and immediately taken to the winery for processing. Fermentation occurred on skins to maximise colour and flavour. The wine was matured in oak to add depth of flavour and a lovely toasty aroma.

"2016 Vintage: Fruity and lifted bouquet of blackberry fruits, plum, dark spices and oak; some layers of violet and pepper emerge as the wine opens-up in glass. On the palate – fruity, spicy, quite concentrated and dry; flavours of blackberry fruits return, some peppery spices and moderate oak; medium tannins and fresh acid bite; balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2025."

"2014 Vintage: Deeply coloured and instantly appealing, the wine shows fragrant aromas of blackberry, dark plum, cocoa, vanilla and toasted nuts on the nose. The palate is succulent and beautifully weighted, and delivers velvety texture and delectable fruit flavours, wonderfully framed by silky tannins. Fruit forward and generous with rich fruit intensity."
