"2014 Vintage: Bold and very fragrant with aromas of spicy white peach and apricot, roses and pot pourri. On the palate - equally powerful and flavourful with flavours that reflect the nose, quite spicy, creamy rounded texture, a gentle phenolic bite adds length and depth, medium acidity, lengthy and lush finish; overall a lovely example."
Cameron Douglas Master Sommelier
"2014 Vintage: From sites at Rapaura and in the lower Wairau Valley, the 2014 vintage (««««½) is exotically perfumed and fleshy. It has concentrated, gently sweet lychee, pear and spice flavours, showing a touch of complexity, and a slightly oily richness."
Michael Cooper Buyer’s Guide
"2014 Vintage: Very fragrant, fleshy and fruity with aromas of Asian pear, apple and rose; a Turkish delight and incense layer add complexity and charm. On the palate – immediately creamy, juicy and fleshy textures with flavours of exotic fruits all mixed together, a lighter spice layer and plenty of flower-like flavours, medium acidity and longer fleshy finish. A great selection for duck confit to light creamy soups."
