Giesen Estate Sauvignon Blanc Wins MUNDUS VINI Gold and Best of Show New Zealand
We’re thrilled to share that the award-winning momentum continues at Giesen. Giesen Estate Sauvignon Blanc (2023) has been awarded Best of Show New Zealand and a Gold Medal at the 35th Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI Summer Tasting.
Best of Show accolades are reserved for the highest-scoring wines in their category, making this a standout international achievement.
For more than 20 years, MUNDUS VINI has been one of the world’s most respected, state-recognised wine competitions. Held twice a year, expert judges from over 40 countries assess wines independently, with the very best recognised with Grand Gold, Gold, or Silver medals.
Director of Degustation at MUNDUS VINI, Christian Wolf, commented:
“In the Summer Tasting we saw great wine qualities from all over the world. Not only do the hard figures show the exceptional quality of the wines tasted this time, but also the feedback from our 120 wine experts from all over the world proves this.”
