Sauvignon Blanc

Crisp, refreshing, and made to bring people together. This generous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is packed with vibrant citrus and tropical flavour, with freshly cut herbs on the finish. Easy to love, even easier to pour.

This is Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc in its happy place. Fruit from the Wairau and Awatere Valleys brings bright tropical and citrus character, with that just-picked herb lift that keeps things fresh and moreish.

The 2023/24 season was El Niño-driven and dry in the east. Marlborough was officially in drought by mid-March, but a very wet winter beforehand helped set the vines up well. Add intermittent late-October frosts around flowering, then near-perfect autumn harvest conditions, and you get smaller yields with excellent concentration and purity.

In the winery, we focus on vineyard expression and varietal clarity. After gentle extraction, we ferment with carefully selected yeasts chosen to build texture, weight, and aromatics. Individual parcels are batch-fermented, then blended for a generous, fruit-forward style with a great balance of subtle natural sweetness and classic Marlborough acidity.

Our aim is to showcase the vineyards and enhance varietally expressive Sauvignon Blanc fruit. After gentle extraction, we begin fermentation with selected yeasts to develop aromatics and palate weight. Parcels are batch-fermented separately, then blended for consistent style and balance, delivering vibrant fruit and a clean, dry finish.

Reviews

Ray JordanCellar Talk - The West Australian

"Pure expression of Marlborough Sauvignon and good example of the style that has become so popular. Has that engaging mix of herbs and spices on the nose with passionfruit on the palate. Has a crunchy, fresh acidity that promotes a very long finish."

Cameron DouglasMaster Sommelier

"Ripe, fruity and varietal with a classic bouquet of passionfruit and mango, apple, lemon and fresh herbs. Crunchy refreshing textures on the palate with vibrant flavours of citrus and white peach, lemon and tropical fruits laced with fresh herbs and a touch of grass. Drinking well new and through."

Sam KimWine Orbit

"Pristine and fabulously fragrant, the wine shows passionfruit, green rockmelon, Granny Smith apple and lemon sorbet characters on the nose. The palate offers terrific fruit purity and intensity together with fine texture and bright acidity, making it instantly appealing."
