0% Rosé Spritz

Juicy, fruit-forward and gently sparkling with passionfruit, lime and ripe strawberry. The charm of Rosé, lifted with a lively spritz.

Giesen 0% Rosé Spritz is crafted from premium New Zealand fruit selected from Marlborough and Waipara. Marlborough contributes freshness and vibrant acidity, while Waipara enhances aromatics and balance.

A vibrant mix of citrus and tropical notes is layered with hints of red berry. Passionfruit and lime meet delicate floral characters, while a touch of Syrah brings subtle strawberry and rose petal lift. Juicy and refreshing, with a playful balance of fruitiness, acidity and spritz, it finishes lively and slightly off-dry. Rosé, reimagined for lighter moments.

Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling parcels were harvested separately at optimal ripeness and fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures (14–18°C) to preserve freshness and varietal purity.

After fermentation, the wine rested on lees for a period to build texture and roundness, then underwent fining and stabilisation. A splash of Merlot was introduced at blending to add a delicate pink hue and subtle red-berry nuance.

A small portion of the blend was gently dealcoholised at low temperature to protect aroma and flavour, with the preserved aromatics and de-alcoholised portion reintegrated with the full-strength wine. The wine was subtly sweetened and balanced, then filtered and bottled, with a light spritz added at bottling for a lively, refreshing finish.

Reviews

Cameron Douglas88 Points, Master Sommelier

"A delicate, fruity wine with aromas and flavours of plum and red cherry, with some strawberry notes and a balanced, even finish. A crisp, textured expression with persistent flavours, a fine mousse mouthfeel, and a decent acid line. Refreshing in style, balanced and well made. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2028. Chill well for service."

"The nose is redolent of cranberry and strawberry with a fleeting trace of truffle. Lifted and refreshing, the palate offers a welcome burst of yuzu and quince. The textured finish is expressive and vivacious with echoes of creamy lees."
